“When I interviewed contractors to build my home I choose Denman Construction because the homes I saw built by this firm were definitely custom homes and were of high quality construction. Since I did not live in Montana at the time, I needed a dependable contractor that would see to the construction in a diligent manner without my constant supervision. However, when I did come to the job site (about once a month) they had the flexibility to respond to my input.

We needed a contractor that had the expertise to construct unique architectural features that we had our architect incorporate in our design, such as our turrets, large beams, and large view windows.

Craig Denman's firm did a fine job. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. His associates are experienced and conscientious.

“We recently had Denman Construction build our Garage/Guest House. As an Interior Designer, I had worked with Denman Construction many times and had seen the attention to detail and creativity for which they are known.

We also wanted to incorporate some historical tower beams and ironwork from an old tram from my family's ranch. The look of the structure was more contemporary, yet the details had to combine the rustic, primitive elements of the historic pieces.

Travis Denman, a Montana State University student in his Architectural Master's Degree Program, designed the structure. His ability to understand the site, the design requirements and our lifestyle was key to the success of the project.

Because of the steepness of the location, a three-story structure was designed with the garage on the top floor accessed by a bridge. The lower two levels function as a guesthouse at the present and will be part of our retirement home later.

Because this project became much grander and detailed than a normal garage/guest house, our neighbor named it "The Taj Garaj!"
